You can definitely stay up all night, just hit an after hours and party the new years eve away till its time to go home, wherever that is. But if you don't feel like driving to the sub-urbs, to QC, to the airport, to the border, to TO, to OT or to where ever the #!*# you came from, you can always rent a hotel room and crash and sleep the first few hours of 2006 away. Anyway, a good new year's party has to end in a hotel room, preferably with tons of lovely ladies with you. We suggest you book in advance, cause it be a bit hard to convince the hotel people that you are not totally inebriated and your not out to trash the room when you show up at 4 AM on the 1st to book a room.
