There isn't that much to say about hotels and lodging except that you will definitely need to sleep at some point (preferably not too much), and that pretty much all the rooms in town will be booked.
Our only advice is, book in advance, so that you are not stuck sleeping with the hobos on the street. You can get yourself and your crazy friends a hotel room online through Expedia.com.
Visit the Tourist Info section of Montreal-Clubs.com for detailed description of all the hot spots in town, and choose the location of your hotel accordingly.
