All too often, planning for your New Years Eve party is like planning for a divorce, but worse because you can get divorced as many times a year as you want, but NYE comes around only once. Ok, I may be exaggerating; it’s not really that hard. All you need is:
That’s pretty much the universal recipe for a successful NYE, tested and approved by our staff. On a more serious note, 2010 is starting; that’s a full ten years since the new millennia started, and the Earth is still standing, turning around the sun, as it has been doing for a while. No big cataclysm, no big tragedies. But there’s been a lot of new, a lot of changes. In the last decade we’ve seen the world change so much, it’s not even funny. I even dare to say that Montreal has evolved, has become a better place to live in. And so has the world in general, at least that’s my own optimistic view. And who knows what the next ten years have is in tock for us. I don’t even dare speculate. It’s just impossible to do so. So yeah, just make sure you enjoy yourselves on New Years.
