| This is located in one of the seediest places in downtown Montreal, on a tiny street somewhere between the projects, the shady strip-clubs/peep-shows and prostitute hangouts…but this place is truly on of the city’s best spots…it has one of the nicest terraces in town (the inside is nice, but nothing to write home about). The terrace is bounded by three eight stories of ivy-coated brick. It has heater for the nice but chilly evenings, a good selection of beer, and cute and friendly waiters/waitresses. The crowd is in their 20’s to 30’s and it’s a great place to chill between friends, bring a date or simply a new acquaintance whose pants you’d love to get into. Watch out though, it’s relatively small so on really nice weekends…good luck finding a place to sit. The beer prices are average, but they have their famous specials on Mondays and Tuesdays with $3 and $4 pints of Boreal, respectively. |

This is my favorite bar in montreal. However If you are in first or second year: This bar sucks, don't go. For the rest of us this little hideaway provides the coolest atmosphere in town on the summertime patio. The walls of ivy are gorgeous and provide a unique feel to the patio
