| Champs is indeed a good place to go and watch sports…just don’t fall for the peanut trick (they offer you salty peanuts for free just so that you buy more drinks). I guess you could call it the number one sports bar in town…especially when it comes to soccer games and box fights. However, I’m still a bit pissed at what they did to me the morning of the 2002 Soccer World Cup final. After waiting 3 hours in line to watch a friggin’ 90 minute soccer game they told me and many other angry people that the place had already miraculously filled up…it got so bad the cops had to interfere. Anyways, somebody once told me that it’s not good to hold grudges…so I’ll try to forgive. |

Many screens, nice waitresses, If your event is not on the screen they will put it on. The owners are a bunch of nice guys. The food is the best you'll ever have amongst Montreal's sport bars. Try it you'll go back!

I have been going to CHAMPS since 1992, the ambiance is second to none. If you want to watch an important game, get there early, also their is no free peanuts.
