| Funkytown is a hip, seventies-style dance club with flashing checkerboard lights on the floor, an overhead disco ball, and a slick 70’s décor. Now, if you really think about going there, you better be prepared to stash your wallet with some cash. As we all know, Seventies kitsch doesn’t come cheap, but it’s worth it if you’re looking for something different than your run-of-the-mill clubbing scene. The crowd is generally a little bit older, who else would be really infatuated with the Seventies, and mature, but that doesn’t mean that those people don’t know how to have fun. This place will get your mojo going, baby! |

Still going strong, the late 70's and early 80's never sounded so good. For 30 year old and above, a great place to dip back in the good old Disco nightlife experience. A little pricy ($5.50 beer) but overall worth the $7.00 cover.

This is a club that you go with many of your friends and have a good time but don't go every week, the reason is that the same music plays. I've been there 4 times and it never changed.

Funky town rocks. If you like MILFs, this is the place to be. You gotta see them hoes when they play Madonna's "Like a Virgin." I once left there with a 51 year old named Ethel and Saturday nite, a 41 year old stripper. What a great place to be. Don't miss it April 19th '04, Bea Arthur from Golden Girls will be there. Later.
