GoGo is still on of the top lounges in montreal, no matter what anybody says. But I do admit to one thing, it's a samll place so it gets packed fast, so if you don't mind that then you'll have a great time.

I've had it too, Gogo has pissed me off for the last time, i'm never stepping foot in there again. First they fired the number 1 bartender on planet earth, that guy with the hair, row-bear or something. And then, they dont let me and my clan in anymore cuz apparently after we leave they have to re-stock on more glasses. GOGO sux, used to be cool. thumbs down. NR.

Well I have to agree with slick 6789 that bar just hasn't been the same without Robby he was our go to guy at the bar and now everyone is so fake. I guess sucsess finally got to their head and its all downhill from here. the only reason to go back there is the doorman Reggie and you don't even have to go in for that you can just speak to him outside.

Had a great time at this funky lounge. Drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was outstanding. I would recommend this bar to tourists coming to Montreal.

Well that is it. I have had it with GoGo. I can not deal with that girl manager who thinks she is king shit. Time to leave gogo girl because you are killing it for all of us. Until she is gone I am not going back. It is just no fun anymore with her hounding all of the staff all of the time!!

Well it's finally happening, after almost 5 years or so, their reign as the hottest club on St-Laurent, is ending. I guess that what happens when security pisses people off, and djs always play the same track over and over again. People go down the street.

OK guys come on already stop complaining. The place is so small. It can hold maybe 150 people. Of course you are going to wait. Shit over 500 people try to get in every single night. SO they ask you to put your jacket in the coat check 1 so they are not getting in the way and second so you dont get it stolen (happened to me a few years back). As for getting in faster when you know the bouncers ahhhh hello we are called regulars. Most clubs have them!!!
Now if you dont want to wait then show up early like around 10 then you will not have any problems. Not sorry to say that this lounge has the best and most friendly staff in any club Montreal can offer

Gogo is a good place to drink but their service really sucks. They are unfair. They treat clients as shit. Still wanna keep your coat during winter inside, even if you feel a bit cold ? forget it, even if you spend $50 they will throw you outside like a garbage bag. The guys at the front door, the bouncers really sucks. You know them ? fine, you will get inside fastly...you don't know them ? too bad for your ass, you will stay outside for hours even if you are freezing..
Overall, not that good. Unfair & not freindly at all.

Gogo lounge is definitely a great place in Montreal. Probably the most if you’re looking for a bar with a crowd casual, good looking, friendly and between 25-30. This is also a mixed francophone and anglophone environment, which is pretty rare. The music is nice if you enjoy “retro” hits but the sound system could be enhanced. Don’t expect to listen RnB and house. The staff is very efficient and you won’t never miss a drink. During the night the party becomes intense, the place is very packed and sometimes you can’t even move ! However, getting in on Fridays and Saturdays is highly critical. Bouncers let the “regular” in with manners sometimes not very respectful. This can dump your night before it’s started and I’ve seen clubbers living the line-up, upset by this behavior. This is the price of success I guess :-)
NB: I don't see any connection with the Tokyo bar except it is indeed on the other side of the road.

everytime i went at that Lounge i really had good times , going there on daily or week ends basis is not a good idea ...
bcoz same people get addicted to the place which will make it a no fun place to go .
But going out there once a month is good , make it twice a month in the summer
