Somehow, le Confessionnal has carved itself a very good position in the selective mind of the entity know as the "young working professional". This small and low key place is a favored hang-out for people that aren't 25 anymore, yet want to dance, mingle, drink, meet and enjoy a good night in general.

And when I say "low key", I really mean low key. Outside of the bar, there is absolutely no sign bearing the name Le Confessionnal. There is only a little square plaque/sign, with some kind of artistic design on it; but nothing betraying that a happening bar is hiding behind the tinted windows and plain-looking door.

The place is so low key, that my friend walked back and forth in front of it for a full hour, not finding it, until he finally had the clarity of mind to actually walk-in, ask the bar's name, only to be told: "This is Le Confessional. Why? Which place are you looking for".

Le Confessional is not large, nor fancy, but it is pleasantly decorated and the music is good; by good I mean that they don't spin the same old 80ies classics that some brain-dead DJ decided young professionals liked. The drinks are OK too, and I especially love the fact that they have Hoegaarden on tap, in real, big Hoegaarden pints.

Bar Le Confessional is definitely worth your week-end nights hours.

After waiting 45 minutes patiently in line, we finally went into the club. We went to buy our first drinks and when my boyfriend got his Visa back it was BROKEN in half. My boyfriend is from Spain, making it extremely difficult to get a new one. When he asked what happened, one of the owners, Jeremy got in his face, yelling at him and asking what his problem was. Once I tried to get involved, Jeremy aggressively grabbed my arm, pulled me and told me he didn't give a shit what I had to say. He then got us kicked out of the club, and my boyfriend still had to sign for the bill.... even though he no longer has a Visa card to use.

I hope the second partner is at least smart enough to buy this low life out since he obviously has no place in this industry.

Very nice crowd, attractive women, great music, very pleasant bartenders. The DJ was awesome and as a whole we had a great night... definitely will return..

The door men are brutal and incompetent. My party spent $475 on bottle service and the door men refused to acknowledge my guests arriving under guest list since they did not speak french.

This is unacceptable. I will not be back.
