Whisky Café is not really a cafe, considering that the main drinks which are consumed there are strongly alcohol based. It is a well designed space, with an authentic retro feel (a rare feat to accomplish), a beautiful bottle rack (not quite sure how else to call it), beautiful waitresses and a classy cigar lounge with authentic art on the walls. And sorry ladies as you might not see this, but the men’s washroom feature an impressive waterfall taking up a full wall, activated only when there is someone in the room such as not to waste water.
Obviously as its name implies, the Whisky Café has an overly impressive alcohol menu, with tons of whiskeys but also with ports and wines. As expected the prevalent high prices reflect the classy décor and large alcohol menu.
Located way up north on the Main, at the outskirts of the Mile-End, the Whisky Café is shielded from the noise and buzz of the lower Main. Its remoteness, classy décor, chill ambiance and classy drinks, make it the perfect spot for impressing a date. |
