Canada's Grand Prix is On
It was quite a scare last summer, when it was announced that the 2005 Grand Prix of Canada would not be held in Montreal. Well, we're a persistent and stubborn bunch here in Montreal; this summer, the Grand Prix is once again happening. On the week end of June the 12th Ile St-Helen will be swarmed by a horde of Formula One racing fans, from all around Canada and the US, considering that there is only one other Formula One event held on the North-American continent. The Canada Grand Prix week-end has become quite the summer tradition, with street fairs all week and tons of events, outdoor shows and parties happening all around Montreal's downtown. These pages are set up to assist you in your car/debaucherous activities during the Montreal Grand Prix.
While the engines are roaring, you should be recuperating from a pleasant sleepless night, and latter, when the drivers are celebrating at Time Supper Club, you should be either doing the same or hitting one of the many restaurants/clubs/bars Montreal has to offer.
And to make your ride smooth, we set up some basic info here, like the travel directions to get to the grand prix race track, some Montreal hotels info, tons of links to Formula One picture galleries, and whatever other useless info we thought was actually useful.
Enjoy the ride...
